After studying mechanical engineering at the University of Hanover, Dirk Wollschläger began his career as an assistant to the Executive Board at Dürkopp Adler AG. In the following years Dirk held various management positions in the metal industry. In 2000, he joined PwC Consulting as Partner. In 2005, through the previous acquisition of PwC Consulting by IBM, Dirk was given global responsibility for the IBM consulting and SI business with DaimlerChrysler. From 2007 onwards, he served as Managing Director of IBM’s overall business with Daimler AG.

In 2012, Dirk became General Manager with overall responsibility for the global IBM business in the automotive industry. He performed this task from 2012 to 2014 out of Shanghai. Since 2016, his responsibilities expanded to the aerospace and defence industries. By late 2021, he left IBM and founded his own company ‘W& Consulting’, a strategy and technology consultancy. In 2022, Dirk Wollschläger started supporting Netskope’s business development in EMEA as CXO Advisor and additionally, joined CAR Center Automotive Research as Director.
