Klaus Zellmer has been CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Škoda Auto a.s. since July 1, 2022 and leads his team through the transformation decade in a customer-oriented manner. He began his professional career in 1997 as an assistant to the Executive Board at Porsche AG, moved to Porsche France in 1999 in sales network development and then built up the area management for North America.

In 2000, as project manager, he was responsible for the development of the sales and marketing areas as part of the relocation of the Porsche plant in Leipzig. After managing the customer center at the Porsche plant, Zellmer became Head of Marketing at Porsche Germany in 2007. This was followed by a move to the Executive Board in 2010.

In 2015, Mr. Zellmer moved to Atlanta, USA, as President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. In September 2020, he became Board Member for Sales, Marketing and After Sales of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand and during this time has made a significant contribution to consistently aligning Volkswagen with the needs of customers in organizational, digital and sustainable terms.
