Stefan Mecha was appointed CEO of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Brand for China, effective August 1, 2022.

Stefan Mecha studied Economics at the Fern Universität in Hagen, Germany. He holds a Global Executive MBA from Insead Business School.

In 2005 Stefan Mecha started his career in Volkswagen AG. He held various management positions in within the Volkswagen Group in Europe, Middle East, South Africa, South America Region and Russia.
